Juniors with Crucians | 2017

Emily Batty
1. 8-year old Emily Batty was very happy to catch her first ever crucian from a small pond in Sheffield.

2. This unusually coloured crucian 1lb 5oz was caught by 9-year old Harry Hitchings from a pond near Donhead St Andrew in Wiltshire.
Grace Sharp
3. 10-year old Grace Sharp caught this stunning crucian of 2lb 11oz. Grace fished hard to catch a crucian in for Catch a Crucian Month, and what a beautiful specimen she ended up with. Great work Grace!
Oscar Highe
4. 5-year old Oscar Highe fished Mill Farm Lodge fishery in Norfolk and assembled this superb bag of crucians on a windy day. Oscar fished a waggler float close in using maggots and casters over hemp and pellets.

5. Logan Blout caught this cracking crucian on 21st June at Coopers Lake in Western-on-Trent. Fantastic work Logan!
Charlie Noke
6. Charlie Noke, aged 10, caught this lovely brace of  crucians from Fisherwick lakes Whittington. Great catch Charlie!
Leon Taylor
7. Leon Taylor with several lovely crucians he caught from Eye Kettleby Lakes in Leicestershire. Leon was expertly tutored by angling coach Mike Naylor.

 

Trinity Ball
8. 10 year-old Trinity Ball caught this fantastic 2lb crucian from Kingstanding Pools in Burton-on-Trent under the expert coaching guidance of Peter Fieldhouse from Burton Mutual AA. Apparently Trinity is now desperate to go fishing again…. With early success like that we can understand why!
Rhys
9. Rhys was was over the moon to catch this superb crucian from a local lake in Doncaster on the 1st June – kicking off Catch a Crucian Month in style! Rhys delicately presented two red maggots using the top kit of pole. Great work Rhys!
